Critically endangered Large Brown Tree Frog
Warriors 4 Wildlife have had the amazing opportunity to help the critically endangered Large Brown Tree Frog (Litoria watsoni) by donating 6 aquariums to Wallabia Wildlife Shelter.
These frogs were rescued as tadpoles when their pool was drying out. They were found to have the deadly chytrid fungus which is causing extinction of the species globally. Joseph and Rena have been successfully treating them for it with advice from frog experts before releasing them back to the wild. Thank you for the important work of helping this species continue to survive and providing the very special care they need.
*It is important not to touch frogs in the wild without knowing propper hygene protocols and to never move them out of their area.
