St Andrews Joey

We received a call for his little joey who was found near St Andrews by a member of public who was driving past and saw him all by himself on the side of a busy road. He was rescued and went straight to Mara at St Andrews Wildlife Shelter who gave him first aid, he was also very happy to get a bottle of specialised milk.

We’ve been told he was confident and not scared at all, quite chilled for a little one who had just lost his mum. He was then transported to Starlight Sanctuary in Glenburn where he has joined two female joey’s of the same size.

Thank you to everyone for the amazing teamwork to get this beautiful joey safe and in an environment where he can grow and thrive with other joey’s in care.
