How does Wattle Wildlife Shelter support wildlife and their habitat?
Whilst only a relatively new shelter, I have been involved in wildlife rescue for about 10yrs.
Being rural, I rescue and care for a wide range of species incl koalas, Macropods, possums and birds. I cover large area across South west Vic, so there is a lot of travelling to attend rescues and collect animals coming into care
What advice would you give the public?
Don't drive past. If something doesn't look right, take the time to stop, check and call for assistance if required
