How does Wild Days support wildlife and their habitat?

Wild Days Wildlife Shelter is dedicated to providing assistance to any wildlife that needs help, caring for their environment and providing them with the freedom to return to their home and family in the wild.

We acknowledge that most wildlife is impacted by human actions either directly or indirectly and we also dedicate time to raise awareness in the community.

Wild Days provides the wider caring community of rescuers and shelters with help if needed and encourage working together towards a common goal - living in harmony with wildlife.

Rehabilitation and release is our goal for wildlife, education is our goal for the community.

How our project funding supported Wild Days Wildlife Shelter

Our July Spotlight, Kay Taranto from Wild Days Wildlife Shelter was invited to our warehouse to collect a $1000 donation to go towards petrol and supplies she needed for the wildlife she has in care. Every shelter that participates in the program will receive this funding.

There are many ways to help our wildlife and we get lots of calls a week with concerned Members of Public wanting to help. You can do this by reporting injured and orphaned wildlife or donating funds so that we can continue our programs and provide ongoing support to wildlife shelters.

What can you do to help?

What advice would you give the public?

We encourage the public to think of how we are impacted by our surroundings and the weather and think of what our wildlife needs to be able to live safely and raise their families too.

Create habitat gardens, have water available, drive slower dusk to dawn, call for help if you see a injured animal that needs help.
