2025 Support 4 Shelters Day
On August the 17th we hosted our Support 4 Shelters Day where we invited wildlife shelters to our warehouse to stock up on supplies necessary to aid in the rehabilitation of wildlife. Thanks to your wonderful donations we were able to purchase more equipment, food, petrol vouchers, medical and cleaning supplies.
This year 40 attendees representing 30 wildlife shelters came along on the day with extra family members and visitors, a few shelters also collected supplies for their local shelter friends It was a fabulous day!
Thank you to Belinda Wilson MP State Labor Member for Narre Warren North for taking the time to visit our Support Centre yesterday for our Support 4 Shelters Day.
All in a day’s work!
Besides W4W's ongoing support week in and week out through our Support 4 Shelters program, this day is particularly important as we help carers financially and prepare them for the influx of orphaned wildlife that will come into their care over the next few months. It also brings carers together to meet, share stories and build resilience within the rehabilitation community.
Thank you to Belinda Wilson MP, State Labor member for Narre Warren North, who attended to see the work we do and to meet all the dedicated shelters. Also a huge thank you to our team of volunteers who helped carers get the supplies they needed.
