Pouch checks

If you find a recently deceased animal please don’t hesitate to call us on 1300 352 923. We can send one of our volunteer rescuers out to check their pouch for young. You will be surprised of the amount of joeys that are still alive with the mother and it is extremely important to check their pouch as soon as possible so we can keep them warm and send them straight a vet or shelter for rehabilitation.

These two Possum’s had little Joeys and were lucky that someone had called them in. Warriors 4 Wildlife volunteers can check the pouch of Possums, Kangaroos, Wombats and Koalas.
